At Artistry In Motion we take pride in our workmanship and professionalism. Our goal is to satisfy each customer with a quality product in a timely manner. We will deliver your dress in the timeframe we quote.
Each customer order begins with a one on one consultation with Julia herself. Julia, with here extensive experience, will create the look that will make you shine on the competition floor.
In the consultation, she will determine all the factors to fit you with the Perfect dress:
- THE STYLE OF THE DRESS
Standard, Smooth, Rhythm, Latin
- COLOR
Determined for each style and customer (Ex: Pale colors don’t always show well on the competition floor)
- YOUR BODY SHAPE
What do you want to show off or hide?
- LOOK
What look do you want to portray? Flash, conservative, fun, sexy, formal, etc.
Julia will gather all this information and create a design especially for you.
Once the design is finalized your dress will be constructed to your measurements (see Measurement Chart in FAQ’s) and sent to you for a fitting. The dress will be basic, stitched using basic stitches to accommodate for any alterations that may be necessary. Notes and instructions for fitting will be enclosed with each garment. This is a crucial step. When fitting the dress pay close attention to how it feels. Make dance movements to feel for comfort and support. Please note that once the dress is finished with all embellishments changes cannot be made.
You will them return the dress to us for final construction and embellishments. Your dress will be completed and sent to you on or before the agreed upon date.
