Custom Designed Dresses

At Artistry In Motion we take pride in our workmanship and professionalism. Our goal is to satisfy each customer with a quality product in a timely manner. Each custom order begins with a one-on-one consultation with Julia and her skilled design team. Her eye for design and extensive experience will create the look that will make you shine on the competition floor! During the consultation, Julia will gather all of the information needed to fit you with the perfect dress. This will include:

• Style - Standard, Smooth, Rhythm, Latin

• Color & Fabrics - determined for each style and customer

• Body Shape - What do you want to show off or hide?

• Look - What look do you want to portray? Flashy, conservative, fun, sexy, formal

Together, you and our design team will select the colors, fabrics and style that is best for you and Julia will draw your design. Click here for our Women's Measurement Chart, this gives us your exact proportions. Once the design is finalized your dress will be constructed to your measurements and sent to you for a fitting.

At this point, the dress will be a basic shell with a bodysuit for you to try on and mark any alterations needed before the dress is embellished. This is a crucial step. When fitting the dress, pay close attention to how it feels. Do some dance movements to grasp the feel of the dress and test it for comfort and support. Please note that once the dress is finished with all embellishments, changes are extremely difficult and often costly.

After you mark your alterations, return the dress to us for final construction and embellishments. Your dress will be completed and sent to you on or before the agreed upon date.
